Here is the thing that let’s you know he is full of crap: If what he said was the right thing to do, he’d be doing it for a long while now. I believe he should try other materials on himself to tests for effectiveness such 5 or 6 layers of saran wrap tightly around his head for a full day and see if that stops the spread of the virus and other anomalies coming out of his mouth.

Are you sure that 1 day would be enough?
When he revealed himself to be stupid, or a lying sack (or both) by pronouncing that masks are useless, I (RN since 1979) stopped listening to him, other than for entertainment.
Masks are useless. First, there’s the fact they haven’t worked. Second, there’s the fact that you can’t stop a 100 nanometer virion with a 3 micron mess. Third, is the bizarre religious fetish of “droplets” that have nothing to do with viral load.
As implemented, not clinically helpful.
If you *really* believe masks are useless, insist that your orthopedic surgeon replace YOUR hip, in a mask free OR.
Mask efficacy is kinda more complicated than “A is smaller than B, therefore B will not stop A”
Having said all that, for every RN/paramedic/doc/other informed and conscientious soul, probably there 5, or more Gilligans, with their snot lockers poking out above their months old mask.
Or genuii like Alyssa Milano and her crocheted “mask”.
They don’t even do anything relevant with bacteria https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/1853618/
Let’s do an over/under pool to see how long before he gets to five masks.
I can’t post the screenshot, but, apparently Tony pulled in $419,608 in 2019.
Good work, if you can get it.
Can anyone name a single thing that fauci has gotten correct since he took that position?
This guy has been advising Presidents since the 80s, and so far, he has not provided any advice that can be demonstrated to have helped. Not a single thing,
Screwed up the Government’s response to AIDS in the 80s, SARS was a disaster, H1N1 was mishandled significantly, letting ebola into the country? What has this guy actually done that was proven to be the right thing to do.
Hey, it’s what he does.
What do you call people who are too incompetent to make it in the private sector? Government employees.
Well, he did dramatically increase the scope and power of the health bureaucracy, which future administrations can (and will) leverage to control the population through fear, division, and strong-arm tactics.
Hey, you wanted to know what “right thing” he’s done. You didn’t specify, “‘Right thing’ for whom?”
“Can anyone name a single thing that fauci has gotten correct since he took that position?”
How to kiss the right butt, how to not get blamed for stupid advice, how to sell himself as an expert to the press, and how to fail upward.
He would have made a great general.
I made this joke last April. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/198176420306878464/700159634375180338/20200415_194339.jpg
According to my wife, Fauci is now saying that we have to find the “balance” between protection and the ability to breathe.
I’m sorry, but is the ability to draw breath now part of a “balancing” act?
*headdesk*
Betcha Tony the Terrible does NOT have asthma or COPD.
