I’ve been thinking about this some more.
The Left pushes the politics of vengence. They see everything as a dynamic between oppressor and oppressed. They claim that they stand with the oppressed for liberation and equality, but what they want is vengence.
This is why Leftist revolutions always end in death camps, mass executions, and political re-education. It’s not about living as equals but putting the boot on the necks of those they claim put the boot on their necks.
To listen to the feminists of the sexual revolution, they said marriage is sex slavery or prostitution by other means. Men oppress women. Husbands oppress wives. They see The Handmaid’s Tale as reality.
They want revenge.
I wrote a post about a feminist book called The Power, in which women develop the ability to generate electricity like electric eels.
They use that power to become androcidal oppressors. A man who didn’t live in fear of women was murdered. Cat call a woman and they would be zapped until their heads exploded.
The left thought this horror story was the zenith of feminist literature.
I think this is where sex work becomes feminist empowerment.
It’s revenge.
It’s them turning the tables on men.
It’s taking advantage of lonely men, making them pay through the nose for a look at a naked woman.
I’ve been reading about Simps. Men who pay OnlyFans girls to pretend to be their girlfriends. These girls go on virtual pretend dates for hundreds or thousands of dollars.
That’s not empowerment. That’s preying on lonely men. Taking advantage of them.
I believe on the eyes of feminists, this is righteousness vengence. Make men simp and be exploited for sex.
That these girls will end up emotionally harmed, and harmed in other ways by this isn’t the concern of feminists. The Left has never had a problem with sacrificing its own or anyone else.
I honestly believe that the push for the normalization of sex work it to convince women not to marry but prey on men for money using sex as retribution for their twisted view of marriage.
It’s more devious than that.
In a communist ideal society that some folks are pushing for, it is necessary for your only friend to be the State. That does not mean you cannot have a family or go watch the game with your buddies, or anything like that. But, the State has to be your first and foremost friend.
Therefore, socialists/communists/statists all have to destroy conventional relationships. Remove any inconvenient entanglements that might get in the way for an all encompassing love of the State. It is why leftists see nothing wrong with single parent households, with women dropping kids off a daycare after only six weeks of mothering, and dehumanizing children.
More recently, we have strong pushes for masks, social distancing, and idiots telling us we have to Zoom video our Thanksgiving dinners. All of it is just another nail in the coffin of social relationships with anyone other than the state.
China created that social network where you get Party points for ratting out neighbors and friends that are not loving the State as much as they should. Wonderful, now you have just become that much less likely to share private thoughts with your friends.
Replacing a conventional romantic relationship with a cash transaction is just another step toward an all encompassing State.
Curiously, the people pushing for this crap likely have NO idea that they are contributing to a society where the opposite of what they want is the inevitable outcome. Where the women will not have power at all. No one will.

In an article I read recently about sex dolls, the author talked about the entire culture of men buying sex dolls and then pretending they are girl friends or wives. Going on dates. The entire “hate” culture says it is so they don’t have to hear “no” from a woman. The men interviewed said it was because they wanted a friend that wasn’t always judging them.
The left has turned dating into a playing field strewn with land minds. You take a woman to dinner, she has a drink. You ask her to bed. She agrees. Three weeks later you find out you are being kicked out of collage because she claims you raped her.
There are so many places where it can go wrong when attempting to interact with a woman and the consequences are so extreme that it is just not worth the risk. Many years ago I watched a women have a melt down in a chat room because some arse was being rude to her. She was demanding that somebody in power punish him. She was incapable of clicking the “quit” button or just leaving that room. She was there and everybody else had to behave and talk to not offend her.
So we have a culture where boys are taught they are rapists because they have the equipment. They are taught they have created a culture of rape. Where a young woman going off to collage is more likely to be raped than a woman in war torn 3rd world shit hole. They are told they have to get positive consent for every part of the dating process, “Is it ok for me to hold your hand?” and at any moment the woman can retroactively remove consent. Where a woman having a drink and saying yes makes it non-consentual if she says it is.
You have to be dumb and desperate to attempt dating in the wild in that culture. In the mean time, boys are taught that the girls they grew up with and whom they have been friends with since 1st grade are off limits in the dating game because “friend.”
Of course they would prefer to pay 100s of dollars for a virtual date with a “beautiful” woman who is going to treat them nicely. Of course they would prefer to pay for somebody to be a companion for a night on the town because they know they are much more likely to get what they paid for from a whore than from the collage co-ed they took on a date.

If anything ID say sex lib does more to remove the transactional elements of sex by making it ok for women to pursue men, allowing more equality of oppurtunity for men to have a turn saying no. Im only half /sarc on that.
