Step 1: Use CDC COVID-powers to grab the guns and disarm us.
Step 2: Crack down on disarmed America the same way disarmed Australians are being cracked down on right now.
Where a Hispanic Catholic, and a Computer Geek write about Gun Rights, Self Defense and whatever else we can think about.

Not sure if this is a full throated attempt, or another ‘run it up the flagpole and see who salutes’ gambit.
The CDC has gotten slapped down before over this crap. They’re probably feeling their oats from their power grab this past year, despite SCOTUS telling them they can’t mandate eviction moratoriums.

I don’t think they will be successful through the CDC. There have ben many attempts at guns in the past but they always end up failing, and its because disarming people is not popular. Especially after 2020 – the pandemic and the riots all year made guns a pretty hot item. The Aussies made their bed.
