This bill eliminates Castle Doctrine, the holy right to defend yourself and be safe in your own home. I don’t think you need a long explanation about how bad this bill is.

But wait, that is not all, Stand Your Ground will also be eliminated from the law.

This a very devious scheme that is used in other countries: Even if you have a gun and have to use it, the State will determine that the use was not defensive because you have no right to do so inside or outside your house. If the defense of your life is only allowed under very obscure legal circumstances that you cannot understand (and never will by design) you rather no use a firearm if you have one or simply not bother getting one if unarmed. Maybe, if you are lucky, you will not die if attacked by a criminal and usually takes longer to get out of prison than the hospital.  I lived under that paradigm and I do not want to go back to it.

Exactly the same as SB 134 and the death of Concealed Carry and pretty much will make even possession of a firearm in Florida a crazy chore. A county can go ahead and enact a ban of firearms even in private homes and nobody could stop them.

Good bye to the Red Flag law and we should go back to doing the adjudicated mentally defective via doctors and a judge with the possibility of a real appeal and recovery or rights.  It also gets rid of the need to be 21 years old in order to buy a firearm. Prohibition of Bump Fire devices is lifted.

We get a tax break on September 5th of 2020. It is not a recurrent thing after that. Why? No idea but I will take the break to keep more of my money.

Let’s see what interesting in this version of the AWB: If you loan your rifle to somebody under 21, you are committing a Third Degree Felony, how nice of them. You must register your rifle with the state to grandfather it in and you must provide a ton of information including who sold it to you, when, was this, who was the FFL, make model serial number and whatever other info they decide at a later date they want from you.  Of course, if you feel these regulations are too troublesome, you can ship your rifle out of the state, destroy it or “donate” it to the state via your local LEO agency.

Just more crap.
