If there is one upside to TDS, it has caused the Left to go so nuts that forget to mask their true desires for tyrannical rule.

Grope Biden, Cultural Appropriation O’Rourke, and Douche Nuke’m Swalwell went full-tilt into demanding disarmament for civilians.  They want to come and take your guns.

Typically, these politicians have shied away from the details of their plan.  Pushing the ideas of mandatory buybacks or some such.  Stating that law-abiding gun owners will turn in their guns because they are law-abiding.  The evidence indicates that law-abiding gun owners are not slavishly law-abiding and will not register or turn over their guns, just because the government says so.

New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida with bump-stocks, even New Zealand demonstrated that to be true.

So as the push for a gun ban grows in East California (formerly the Commonwealth of Virginia) from the few big Blue population-dense areas, the rural Red areas have started to declare themselves gun sanctuary cities.

This is a play taken right out of the Left’s playbook, declaring cities, counties, and whole states sanctuaries against Federal immigration law.  Arlington County, Chesterfield County, and Fairfax County in Virginia are listed as Sanctuary Counties.

The Left doesn’t like being hoisted with their own petard and is vowing to crush the Virginia 2A sanctuary movement with the most force they can muster.

Va. rep. suggests military enforcement for new gun legislation, National Guard responds

The Virginia National Guard has responded after Governor Ralph Northam said there would be consequences for law enforcement who didn’t enforce new gun legislation.

“If we have constitutional laws on the books and law enforcement officers are not enforcing those laws on the books, then there are going to be some consequences but I’ll cross that bridge if and when we get to it,” Northam said.

A representative from Richmond then said the Virginia National Guard might have to get involved.

“And ultimately, I’m not the governor, but the governor may have to nationalize the National Guard to enforce the law,” Rep. Donald McEachin said. “That’s his call, because I don’t know how serious these counties are and how severe the violations of law will be. But that’s obviously an option he has.”

Send in the troops to do door to door in Red counties to seize the guns and take the Sheriffs out of power.  That seems like a great plan that will surely work.

The [current] Adjutant General of Virginia, Major General Timothy P. Williams, released a statement saying they aren’t going to speculate about the use of the Virginia National Guard to enforce gun legislation.

I added current because we have seen recently too many retired military officers who become media commentators and military officers turned politicians clamoring for restricting gun rights, including President candidates Seth Moutlon, Pete Buttigieg, and Tulsi Gabbard.

So I suspect it may only be a short matter of time before the Va National Guard AG is replaced by a general who doesn’t respect the Second Amendment and thinks that black rifles only belong in the hands of soldiers… and that it’s fine for his soldiers to use their issued black rifles to take away the black rifles of those petulant civilians in the Virginia boondocks.

The Virginia Guard AG serves at the pleasure of the Governor, and I’m sure a Leftist Blue Governor can quite easily find some civilian hating Swamp-monster General inside the DC bubble, happy to disarm gun owners, to take over.

Virginia Democrats are cocksure over the fact they Virginia has become like California or Illinois, where the Blue population rich bubbles have given them a permanent majority for one-party rule.  So they have no incentive not to bring their gun-grabbing machinations to fruition.

You know how I can all but 100% guarantee that it was the circle game.

But this is 2019, so the internet is screaming “OK WHITE POWER SYMBOL!!!”

Let me be absolutely clear about this situation.

In early 2017, some 4Chan trolls noticed that the media and the Left (which is redundant) had lost their fucking minds over Donald Trump.

They had no grasp of humor or proportion or sarcasm or anything else.  Every single fucking thing Trump or one of his supporters did made their hair catch on fire.

They believed that Trump was elected solely because of white racism, every Trump supporter was a racist, and white supremacists became the boogieman under every bed in Blue America.

This is not to say that there are no white supremacists, but they are now, just like they have been for a long time, a fringe minority of losers.  They are not the lion’s share of the 63 million Trump voters.

These 4Chan trolls then cooked up a plot of devious simplicity.  They said they were going to use the internet to spread the rumor that the universally known and totally anodyne “OK hand symbol” was really a white power symbol and every celebrity, actor, sports star, politician, etc. who flashed it was supporting white supremacy.

It was a hoax, and it was epic.  Even the ADL admitted it was a hoax.

NPR reported that “The ‘OK’ Hand Gesture Is Now Listed As A Symbol Of Hate.”

Here is the thing.  The Trump deranged media bought that shit like an elderly widow on a reverse mortgage.  They swallowed it hook, line, and sinker.

When the hoax blew up in their faces, they could not admit that they were wrong.  The media cannot admit that is it wrong or people will lose faith in them (not that most people already have).

Furthermore, the high ranks of the media are made up of Columbia Journalism School and other elite Univeristy graduates.

One thing to understand about those fuck-shits, is that they have been trained to believe that they are never wrong because they were the best and brightest and went to the most prestigious schools.

True story: I was working on a project that I had to present.  During my presentation, another engineer who graduated from MIT challenged me on something.  I told her that she was wrong and why (I had the data to back me up).  She then said, “I can’t be wrong, I went to MIT.”  The eye-rolling that came from every other engineer who went to a state school could have powered a small generator.

So these elite J-school graduate shit-weasels fell for a 4Chan hoax and since they couldn’t admit that they were tricked because they were so afflicted by TDS that they had a functional IQ of about 65, they doubled down.  They went full-tilt claiming that it’s not a hoax, it’s true.

Then they found the few white supremacists who really had an IQ of 65 who also fell for the hoax as evidence.

This horseshit has spread through the ranks of the Left like gospel, because any Lefty who says “wait one fucking second, this was a 4Chan hoax, and every time we lose our minds over this, we look like the stupid jackasses the 4Chan thought we were,” that person will immediately be cast out of the ranks for “defending white supremacism.”

The Left always eats its own for not holding fast to the orthodoxy.

This is the situation.

Some USNA Cadets were fucking around.  Probably because they were bored because they are required to attend the Army/Navy game, even if they don’t give a shit about football.

Their shenanigans were captured on TV, and the rules of Leftist adherence to orthodoxy means that these cades must be destroyed for flashing a white power symbol.  No other option or interpretation is acceptable.

So the media and the Left are going to go full-tilt into destroying the military careers of some Cadets over nothing.

Next comes the handwringing over the white supremacist takeover of the military.

Let me be clear about this.  I have spent a long time around veterans, including some Academy grads.  I grew up with kids who went to the best Ivy League schools, which have the same standards as the military academies.

Guess what?

Teenagers are still teenagers, and young men are still young men.  You can put them in the fanciest of uniforms and still, they will occasionally act like the way young men do.  They will fuck around if they think that no one is watching.

The stupid fucks who make the argument “they are our best and brightest and shouldn’t be goofing off” have never been in the ranks of the best and brights and know how much goofing off the best and brightest really do.

Bored, innocuous, shenanigans are not something to destroy a career over.

If you follow the logic of these eco-fascists, this makes a perverted sense.

If you believe that climate change is imminently apocalyptic, i.e., millions or billions will die in the next 10-12 years if nothing changes, then killing the people who do nothing to make the change is going to save more lives.

That has always been the logic of the Left.  Exterminate some minority in order to make the majority thrive.

German National Socialists thought that executing the Jews, Roma, and Communists would make Germany flourish.

The Soviets thought purging the Kulaks and Capitalists would make the Russian working class thrive.

Pol Pot shot one million Cambodians and worked another million to death in the killing fields to try and make Cambodia into a worker’s paradise.

Castro and Che killed or tortured tens of thousands of land-owning Cubans for the same reason.

Socialism always fails, because it is impossible to kill and torture a country into economic prosperity.

I am not a hater of AKs. Old reader know I have clone that served me through more than one post hurricane period, and I have sung the praises of it but because I got it for $350, (FFL fee included) and it is a darn good rifle at that prince: Hard hitting round, reasonably accurate at suburban distances and almost impossible to mess up. It is heavy, hard to reload under pressure, iron sights suck to high heaven and it is usually nor smoothly finished. But again, it is worth the $350-$400 range price. And I don’t care who manufactured it or if it hasa milled receiver instead of a stamped one and the metal parts were massaged with vodka by a virgin maiden form the Urals: $1,000 for an AK is simply crazy. It is more a question of “collectability” than performance.
