It takes one video to destroy a carefully planned publicity campaign.
A 55-year-old woman remains hospitalized at Vanderbilt University Medical Center with nine fractures in her elbow, six broken ribs and a broken left leg after an assault in the parking lot of Popeye’s Louisiana Chicken restaurant in Columbia, Tenn., that was captured in a now-viral video.
Popeye’s employee Deriance Ra’Shaiel Hughes, 29, was arrested Friday and charged with felony aggravated assault, according to Columbia Police. The incident occurred Tuesday, police said.
The video shows a woman walking out of the restaurant. A man wearing a red Popeye’s uniform shirt follows quickly behind her, with several other people behind him.
Before the woman steps off the sidewalk, the man later identified by police as Hughes grabs her waist from behind, lifts her up and body slams her onto the asphalt. On the audio, the man can then be heard screaming repeatedly as he stands over her while the woman moans.
When I was in college back in the Reagan years, I used to go to a nearby Popeye’s to get Dirty Rice and biscuits, that was it since I do no like chicken. Years later visit ing the States, I went to one and I was greeted poorly because I was of the wrong racial persuasion and never even bothered since to be a customer.
You may have noticed on TV Popeye’s heavy campaign to attract customers with the Louisiana theme playing heavily trying to shed the gansta-only reputation that it seem to have developed and expand the customer base. But the above video is not going to help one bit.

There was manipulation of the electoral results. Before you get confused, according to Bolivia’s electoral law, if there not a 10% or more difference between the first and second place candidates, there has to be another round of elections. When th challenger went under that 10%, the Electoral Council stopped updating results, went silent and the next announcement was that Evo Morales had been re-elected. It was such an obvious ploy that people took to the streets every day till today. But it was yesterday that the final bell tolls were heard when the police units of all major cities went peacefully against the government being the last one the one from La Paz, capital of the country. Morales then asked the Electoral council to have brand new elections again,but that died when the Armed Forces of Bolivia suggested that he should resign.
He finally did.

The President was last seen hoping in a small jet plane and taking off, only to land at another airport in the country. Unconfirmed news say that he asked several countries including Argentina and Brazil for refuge and was denied.
The question now is why Bolivia succeeded where other Latin American countries have failed? No idea, but then again it is Bolivia. They proudly fucked Che Guevara and told Castro to go sit on a broken bottle of rum. you just don’t mess with mountain people.

The problem with MDIs is not carbon dioxide (the most common greenhouse gas), but rather two types of hydrofluoroalkane (HFA) gas, which represents a far smaller share of greenhouse emissions, but a much more powerful one. Even the least polluting inhaler was found to emit HFAs at levels equal to up to 10 kg (22 lbs.) of carbon dioxide into the air over the course of its 200-puff lifetime. The worst emitted the equivalent of more than 36 kg (79 lbs) of CO2.
So asthmatics have a carbon footprint that is more than their fair share?
Dry powder inhalers require patients to have at least enough lung strength to draw in the medication, and many do not. For them, the forced puff of an MDI is the only way to administer the drug.
This is very true. MDIs are far better for children and elderly patients and are required for emergency asthma symptoms because the user needs to have enough lung strength to aerosolize the powder into the lungs.
Across the rest of Europe, less than 50% of inhalers prescribed are MDIs and in Scandinavia it’s barely 10%. The difference, in most cases, is less about pharmaceutical efficacy than simply local medical custom and practice.
Also, DPIs are (in general) more expensive. The process of making the fine powder so that it can be inhaled is complex, so is the drug formulation. Many DPIs are newer and still on patent while there are many generics of MDIs.
So it’s not just custom. It’s cost, patient age, and a number of other factors.
As with so many things medical, the right solution is all about finding the proper balance between cost and benefits. In the case of asthma, the benefit of dialing back the aerosols and turning to alternatives whenever possible can accrue to not just individual patients, but the planet at large.
Use fewer aerosols.

I have been thinking about Islam and the influence of Islam on Western Progressives, and I have come to a conclusion.
I have been taught in my comparative religion classes, and everywhere I look online, that Allah, the god of Islam is the same God worshiped by the Jews and Christians.
I have come to the conclusion that this is not so.
I believe that Allah is not God, but that Allah is Satan. Satan tricked Muhammad into thinking that he (Satan) was God and that Islam is actually the religion of Satan.
This makes everything make sense.
We Jews are God’s chosen people. Our duty is to live according to the Ten Commandments and 613 Mitzvot, and essentially be exemplars of how God wants us to live. People can choose to follow that if they want, or not. We’re not pushy about conversion.
As God’s chosen people, we were given the land of Israel.
Christians believe that Jesus Christ was the Son of God, who died on the cross for the sins of all mankind.
I have read the New Testament (I did go to an Episcopalian school) and Jesus was both a peaceful man and built upon the teachings of the Old Testament. Christians today read from both books.
Jesus Christ himself was a man of peace, who taught peace.
Then comes Muhammad. Allah tells Muhammad that the Christians and Jews got everything wrong, they perverted God’s teachings and they are starting over with him and a brand new book.
Muhammad was a mass-murdering child rapist, the very opposite of Christ.
Islam starts out calling Christians and Jews People of the Book but ends calling Christians and Jews cursed, going so far as to say that come the end of days:

Today, the Palestinians, Iranians, and most Muslims want to “drive the Jews into the sea.”
Why would God want his chosen people to be exterminated and the land he ad given them stolen after making an unbreakable covenant?
He wouldn’t. Unless Allah was Satan trying to use his followers to wipe out God’s chosen people.
But it’s not just Islam’s desire to kill all of God’s chosen people and kill or subjugate those who follow the teachings of God’s only begotten son that inclines me to believe that Allah is really Satan, it is the little things in Islam that show this too.
For example. The celebration of Eid Al-Adha. It is supposed to celebrate the day that Abraham showed his devotion to God by sacrificing his son Isaac, only to be stopped at the last moment by God.

In traditional Koser slaughter, the purpose was to prevent the suffering of the animal.
This kind of open-air torture and murder of animals is not what God wants and is prohibited in Leviticus.
If you look at how Jews and Christians celebrate their high holy days, they are peaceful days spent in prayer. The power of that peace cause one of the greatest miracles of the modern era, the Christmas Truce of 1914 during WWI.
Islam on the other hand, terrorist bombings and shootings spike during their holy days. It is an extra special act of martyrdom to die during Ramadan or Haj. So every Ramadan the Islamic world goes extra bloody.
Why would God want his people killing each other in droves during their holiest of days? The Jews and Christians don’t do that.
That seems like the kind of thing Satan would be into.
Comparing the Islamic world to the rest of the world, despite the huge amount of wealth in natural resources Islamic countries are shit-holes of ignorance and violence.
What great art, music, technology, or culture comes out of them? For there being some 1.6 billion Muslims, they have earned only a couple of Nobel Prizes. The Jews, on the other hand, have won about a third of them.
Where is the Islamic Leonardo da Vinci or Mozart?
What modern buildings and technology exist in places like Dubai and the UAE are imported from Europe or built by European engineers and skilled workers.
Iran was the most advanced Islamic country in the world at one point, and that was when it was the most liberalized and westernized. When it became a fundamentalist Islamic nation, it decayed into an impoverished shit-hole.
Lastly, I was taught that Satan had a corrupting influence and that sin was a slippery slope.
Look at the alliance between Progressives and Muslims. How could groups that differ so much on things like women’s rights (free the nipple vs. forcing women to wear burkas) be to aligned?
Then you realize that part of Progressivism starts with rejecting the morality of the Enlightened Christian foundation of America and Western Society. That is the sin that opens the door.
From there the Venn diagram of Progressives that defend Islam, hate Israel, want absolutely unchecked and government-funded abortion, and believe in the chemical castration of children over gender ideology becomes a perfect circle.
Progressive identity politics touched Islam and Satan’s influence expanded into Progressivism.
Remember that Hitler also paired with the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem before he decided to exterminate God’s chosen people. I want to make it clear, I am not exonerating Hitler. He was an evil, antisemitic, anti-Christian, Socialist, occultist long before he met the Mufti. Only that if you ask the question “how could God let six million of his chosen people be mechanically slaughtered,” Satan’s influence in the enormity of the Holocaust is an answer.

The Cherry Hill school district, located just outside Philadelphia, passed the new rule Tuesday night at a school board meeting.
Under the policy, students with a negative balance will be able to get a hot meal, but not a la carte items. The if debt goes over $75, high school students will be prohibited from going to school dances including prom until the debt is fully repaid.
The rule will be enforced at the principals’ discretion, but also allows middle and high school students to be banned from extracurricular activities and going on field trips until the balance is paid off.
In August, the Cherry Hill school district also came under fire when it proposed giving only tuna sandwiches to students who owed more than $10 and refusing to serve kids who had a balance of more than $20.
So students who allow lunch debt to rack up will still be able to eat, they just won’t be able to get goodies or participate in prom and sports.
This doesn’t seem that harsh to me. The internet has a vastly different opinion. This is cruel and the US is evil. Kids shouldn’t be punished for not paying for the lunch they eat.
Except this is a real problem. As reported by CNN:
Though the median amount of unpaid student meal debt for school districts is $2,500, there’s significant variance. School districts reported debt ranging from the single digits to more than $856,000, SNA said.
“Once that debt is considered uncollectible … then the school district is required to pay off the debt, and that would have to come from general funds,” Pratt-Heavner said. This means that schools already strapped for cash have to take out money for educational activities and materials to cover lunch money.
So the kids that don’t pay for lunch end up hurting the educational opportunities of other students by depriving them of academic resources.
Although the average price of a middle school lunch is $2.68, the cost can add up for families, especially those with several children. Kids from low-income families can receive assistance, though not all families apply and some are deemed ineligible.
Students from families whose incomes are at or below 130% of the poverty level qualify for free school meals. Children whose family incomes are between 130% and 185% of the poverty level are eligible for reduced-price meals. For the 2018-19 school year, 130% of the poverty level was $32,630 for a family of four, according to SNA.
So there are plenty of resources out there for poor families, it’s often the case that the parents just don’t bother to fill out the paperwork and apply for the free lunch program.
But who cares that New Yorkers who pay for their rides are suffering having to ride on broken and filthy subways (most of who are middle and working-class people), it’s “not fair” that poor people have to pay $2.75 to ride and will get arrested if they don’t pay.
“A service [school lunch, public transportation, etc.] exists but it’s inconvenient for me to pay for it so I won’t. My refusal to pay for a service I use causes other people who do pay for it to suffer a reduction in service and quality. My selfishness hurts others. When the system decides that I need to be held accountable for not paying for the services I use, I will protest and riot and attack cops and demand other people with more money than I pay off my debt.”
When you are taught that you shouldn’t have to pay for a school lunch as a kid, and you decide as a young adult that you shouldn’t have pay for your subway ride either, you get it into your head that you shouldn’t have to pay for anything really.
Let other people pay for your healthcare and housing and vital needs.
This is socialism in the small things.
This metastasizes into socialism in the big things.
