If Trump won, the Democrats promised us concentration camps would pop up all over the country and gays will be electrocuted.  I guess Beto is trying to reassure it still will happen and everybody he does not like is a Nazi.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (Video by WMC via CNN) —A Tennessee man is accused of shooting and killing an alleged burglar.

Charles Kalb is charged with first-degree murder, according to WMC.

The man killed, Lamorris Robinson, was seen stealing a chainsaw from a store, according to a police affidavit. The affidavit goes on to say Kalb shot Robinson in the back with a sawed-off shotgun as he ran from the store.

He is also charged with possession of a prohibited weapon.

Unfortunately for some “instructors” teaching about defensive use of firearms is mostly concentrated on how yo accurately put rounds downrange into a criminal and a little as of when you can do that within the narrow window the law provide us to do so.  I am still hearing here in Florida about instructors commenting about the “Three Step Rule” of carry in a vehicle and that you can kill somebody if he is armed with a knife at 21 feet or less.

In the case above, the defining line is “as he ran from the store” which means whatever event was happening that may have been considered a forcible felony and which you believed could lead to death or grave bodily harm, was no longer the case. He was not in danger, the possible forcible felony was over.

This is why I keep pestering my readers to get more instruction via books and articles by people that deal with the non-trigger-pulling part of defensive shooting.  I have mentioned Massad Ayoob, Andrew Branca and Jon Gutmacher for Florida residents over and over through the years because they studied and made careers out of what happens after the shooting is done and what has kept people out of prison and what has sent them to endure a long

So yes, do the accurate shooting thing, but learn the legal aspect. If you think it is boring, think that ignoring it will indeed make your life more exciting during trial, sentencing and life behind bars.

One person dead following shooting at a Madison Kroger

Madison Police are investigating a shooting at the Kroger on Wall Triana Highway on Sunday afternoon.

Police said they received the call around 4:00 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers said they found a person suffering from a gunshot wound.

Authorities said the shooting victim was taken to Hunstville Hospital ER and later died.

WHNT News 19’s crew on scene said officers took pictures of the scene and looked through cars.

Detectives said they are seeking out a person of interest at this time only described as a light skin black male.

This is the Kroger I do my weekly grocery shopping at.  I was not there when the shooting took place, but this is a good reminder of why it’s important to keep your guard up even when you are at the places you are most familiar and comfortable with.

You have the president quoted saying he was released. To be released means he had ben captured first, not “attempted to capture.” There is no “attempt to capture” narrative found in Mexican Media, so why is the U.S. Media going down that path? Does it screw with the Liberal view that Trump calling certain countries “shitholes” is in this case appropriate? Or is it related to Open Borders and the fight to stop enforcement of immigration laws and secure our borders? To show that the Mexican Government is impotent and folds to the threats of a Cartel, is actually having to admit Trump was right and we need to lock down our Souther Border and start  sending illegals back.

They cannot have that.

SB 586 – Firearms

Firearms: Requiring that, if neither party to a firearm sale or transfer is a licensed importer, licensed manufacturer, or licensed dealer, all other sales or transfers may be conducted only between two persons who have valid concealed weapons or firearms licenses; requiring such a seller or transferor to retain a copy of the buyer’s or transferee’s concealed weapons or firearms license and the serial number of the firearm sold, etc.

IANAL warning.

The way I read this bill, it codifies the sales of firearms between private individuals if they have Concealed Weapons Licenses.  This rubs me very wrong because 1) It was introduced by a Democrat and 2) Implies they have the votes to pass Universal Background Checks and they are gonna throw us a bone with this bill.
Of course, if UBC gets passed before anything else, this bill will be conveniently retired or will fail to get enough votes to be sent to the Governor’s desk. Oops! Sorry about that. Let’s try again next year.
