Son of Gecko 45 does not use slings.

Where do I begin? Allowing the enemy to get your weapon? Even if you have a pistol you can transition to, you want to keep the attacker close and shoot his sorry ass from retention at a distance that is almost impossible to miss. If he anchors himself to you, that was a dumb and deadly mistake he is making. Letting him go with your main weapon? You deserve to be the one getting fitted for a wooden tux.

But wait! There is more!

Oh yes, his other video.

I was just thinking about teachers that say they know better than the parents.

If they truly believe so, then they should also share the responsibility to provide with the kids. Have a judge order schoolteachers to provide child support to every kid they have in class. Monies will be automatically deduced from their paychecks every month just like any other parent also paying for child support.

And I believe we should include school board members but for the kids of the whole school district.

That NY Brand strikes again: Loony Professor and her machete.

Why are Liberals so violent?

A Hunter College professor has been fired after threatening a New York Post reporter and a photographer with a machete.

The journalists were trying to speak to Shellyne Rodriguez about an incident in which she criticised anti-abortion activists on campus, the Post said.

Ms Rodriguez followed them onto the street with the machete, video showed.

Hunter College, part of the City University of New York, confirmed she had been “relieved of her duties”.

US professor fired after machete threat to New York Post reporter – BBC News

The Post was trying to do a follow up about another vide where she got caught vandalizing a display table of a campus Pro-Life group.

I know that in “cultured and advanced” New York, it is OK to be chased by an unhinged woman with a bladed weapon. And I say it is OK because after such obvious evidence assault with a deadly weapon, she has not been arrested at the time I am writing this post.

In less “educated” and “back country holes” like Tennessee or Florida, she’d be properly behind bars or laying “comfortably” in some coroners’ table waiting for the autopsy to begin.

Oregon Firearms Federation, Inc. v. Brown

B.L.U.F.

Measure 114

Measure 114 turns the right to bear arms protected by the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution on its head. Measure 114 abolishes Oregonian’s constitutionally protected right to purchase firearms and own them for self-defense, turning it into a privilege, subject to the whims of government bureaucrats, that may be bestowed on Oregonians at a time when it is convenient for the government.
Third Amended Complaint.Oregon Firearms Federation, Inc. v. Brown, No. 2:22-cv-01815, Doc. 158 (District Court, D. Oregon), ¶8
Measure 114 made up the term “large capacity magazine” for magazine capable of carry more than 10 rounds. There is not firearms industry term for magazines that hold more than 10 rounds, nor is it an accurate descriptive term for what is really standard equipment. Indeed, the law’s definition of “large capacity magazine” is deliberately misleading. Many people buy a firearm for the purpose of self-defense. Such consumers are inherently interested in maximizing the number of rounds available in a small package because it maximizes the effectiveness of their defensive tool. Characterizing standard capacity magazines as large capacity is a psychological trick designed to deceive the public.
Id. ¶70</cite

The gist is that Measure 114 creates a permitting scheme that doesn’t work. It bans magazines and semi-automatic weapons and is another Bruen response spam bill.

Starcruiser is proof Disney isn’t cutting back in Orlando because of DeSantis

Disney announces its huge Star Wars hotel will CLOSE just a year after opening and charging visitors up to $20,000 for two night ‘voyage’ on fake Orlando spaceship with no windows

The expensive and immersive Star Wars hotel at Walt Disney World in Florida is closing after just one year of taking guests on a two-night ‘voyage’ that could cost up to $20,000.

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser was originally sold as an experience rather than a hotel and costs around $1,200 per person per day. One ‘tricked out’ suite has been reported to come in at a whopping $20,000 for the trip.

The immersive lodging, which is based in Orlando – and does not have any windows – will carry out its final ‘voyages’ in September, four years after it was announced at D23 Expo in 2019 as part of the park’s $1 billion Star Wars land.

The news of the closure comes just months after DailyMail.com reported that Disney was struggling to fill up bookings and had reduced availability for the fall.

The hotel, which is located near Disney World in Orlando, Florida, created major buzz when it first opened over its price and its amenities.

Included in the two day experience is a cabin or suite, ongoing immersive entertainment, food and beverages in and out of the space, and admission to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

A room that can accommodate three adults and one child is priced at $5,999, not including taxes and fees.

A cabin with two guests comes in at $4,809 while three guests comes to $5,299.

The Starcruiser “immersive experience” is three days pretending you are living in a cruise ship in the Star Wars universe.

This video is a walk through of the attraction.

That looks like it would be fun for a few hours, or a cool theme restaurant, but unless you are a ridiculous Star Wars super-fan into LARPing, that’s gonna get old fast.

Considering the $6,000 price tag, the only people willing to pay for that are Star Wars super-fan into LARPing.

Did Disney have it’s head so far up it’s own ass that it thought that there were enough Star Wars super-fan into LARPing to sustain this as a business?

Because clearly, there are not.

This took $350 Million to build, so they didn’t recoup their investment.

It’s not DeSantis that is killing Disney jobs in Orlando, it’s dumb fuck decisions like this.
