FBI opens investigation into killing of Palestinian American Shireen Abu Akleh

The U.S. Justice Department recently informed the Israeli Justice Ministry that the FBI has opened an investigation into the death of Palestinian American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, who was killed in May while covering an Israeli military raid in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin, Israeli officials said Monday.

White House National Security Council spokesperson referred Axios to the DOJ.

“Our thoughts remain with the Abu Akleh family as they grieve this tremendous loss. Not only was Shireen an American citizen, she was a fearless reporter whose journalism and pursuit of truth earned her the respect of audiences around the world,” the NSC spokesperson added.

Shireen Abu Akleh was in the middle of a firefight where the IDF was engaged with Palestinian terrorists who were hiding among civilians in a camp in Jenin.

The world immediately jumped to the conclusion that she was assassinated by the evil Jews.

Everyone just accepted the Palestinian narrative, despite (because) the Palestinians lie constantly about Israel.

Now the FBI is going to investigate her death and Democrats on Congress are ready to convict Israel simply because Israel.

US moves to shield Saudi crown prince in journalist’s killing

The Biden administration declared Thursday that Saudi Arabia’s crown prince should be considered immune from a lawsuit over his role in the killing of a U.S.-based journalist, a turnaround from Joe Biden’s passionate campaign trail denunciations of Prince Mohammed bin Salman over the brutal slaying.

The administration said the senior position of the crown prince, Saudi Arabia’s de facto ruler and recently named prime minister as well, should shield him against a suit brought by the fiancée of slain Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi and by the rights group Khashoggi founded, Democracy for the Arab World Now.

The Saudi crown prince had Khashoggi murdered at the Saudi embassy in Turkey, cut into pieces, and brought home in a duffel bag.

But the US Government is now protecting the prince from a lawsuit.

There is no group of Congress, especially from the Left, calling for accountability for Saudi Arabia.

It couldn’t be clearer that thr ONLY motion here I’d Jew hatred.

This has nothing to do with principles or protection of journalists.

This is just Jew hating motherfuckers using every opportunity to attack Israel.

Moped robberies are popular in South America, the UK, and France.

They have been tried from time to time in Miami.

The problem for the robbers was most Miamians were wary of two guys on a moped and concealed carry is legal.

In New York City, concealed carry is banned so the city has degenerated into a third world shithole where moped robberies are now a trend.

New York has a brand, and that brand is North Caracas.

Lt. Mariano Pargas of the Uvalde Police Department has resigned from his position, days before he was likely to be dismissed at a ‘special meeting’ of the city’s council.

Pargas, 65, was the commanding officer on the scene when 19 children and two teachers were shot dead by crazed gunman Salvador Ramos on May 24 at Robb Elementary School.

The resignation comes days after CNN published damning audio and video that showed the officer failing to act and properly relay information about the unfolding attack.

The dispatcher told Pargas that there were eight or nine students still alive inside of the classroom. He asked the dispatcher: ‘This calls you got in from the… from one of the students, what did they say?’ She answers: ‘Ok, Khloie’s going to be, it’s Khloie. She’s in Room 112, Mariano, 112.’

The dispatcher goes on to tell Pargas: ‘Eight to nine are still alive. She’s not too sure… She’s not too sure how many are actually DOA or possibly injured. We’re trying.’ He replies: ‘Ok, ok thanks’ and then hangs up.

A minute later, Pargas is shown relaying the information he obtained to a Border Patrol agent inside of a Robb Elementary School hallway. However, when Pargas goes outside to talk with a Texas Ranger outside of the school, he didn’t mention the 911 call.

McLaughlin said: ‘I think if we’d have had this, all this, and I think if we would have had your video and what we saw and everything we saw last night, I think Mariano would have been gone sooner, in my opinion, would have been gone.’

They knew there were kids still alive, a lieutenant was told by dispatch but did nothing to act on that information.

If this man had any decency left, he’d go home and eat his service weapon.

If he doesn’t, I wouldn’t convict a grieving parent gave him service weapon gavage.

Is anybody else suffering from Election Saturation? As much as I like the politics of our causes, it reaches a point I just want to shut down almost all inputs, specially after the election is over and the inevitable wave of pundits come out to tell you what all meant and means.

Do you remember the scenes in the movie Heartbreak Ridge where the platoon members came running out of the barracks with a bunch of t-shirts trying to figure out which one was the gunny wearing that day? That is me trying to dress for the frigging multiple personality Tennessee weather.  Having days topping in the low 80s and the dropping to the high 20s can drive anybody insane pus catch a cold or pneumonia or some other crap.

I believe I am going to get back and smoke pork again. There are some nice BBQ restaurants to be found in the area, but dear Lord they want and arm and a firstborn for a pound of pulled pork. And what I have found disturbing, is the abundant sales of electric pellet smokers rather than the traditional charcoal & wood contraptions. Is this even legal in the South? At a minimum is as immoral as dancing Salsa butt-nekkid in the middle of Baptist services.

The snow is starting to fall. The wood rack is full. Time to gather around the woodstove to enjoy the warmth.

The state of Tennessee has collected $585.8 million more than budgeted in taxes and fees in the first three months of the fiscal year.

That’s after the state collected $4.6 billion more than its initial budgeted estimate for last fiscal year. Tennessee’s State Funding Board heard testimony Thursday from economists as it worked toward establishing next fiscal year’s estimates.

The largest collection came from sales tax, where Tennessee collected $1.14 billion. That’s above the $1 billion budgeted estimate and more than an 11% increase from the $1.02 billion collected in October 2021.

How much of that extra income is due to inflation? Stuff costs more and the sales tax does not care if you can pay the higher collection because you are spending more because you are forced to do so or just because you have extra income.   

On Nov 7th, 2022 Judge Suddaby issued his preliminary injunction enjoying parts of the NY State CCIA.

Most of the “good moral character” requirements were enjoined as well as the intrusive requirements the state was using to make that determination. Along with the good moral character being enjoined, Suddaby also said that many of the locations cited as “sensitive places” were not. He also enjoined enforcing the “opt into the 2nd” law where there had to be affirmative signage on a location to allow CCWs to carry.

Today the Second Circuit court granted an emergency stay of Suddaby’s order. We’ll update this article once we have the text of that stay.

This was just a three judge panel that issued the stay.

Interestingly the injunction issued against restricting the right to carry in a place of worship is still in place.
