Sometimes I hate Palmetto State Armory

Sig Tango MSR LPVO 1-6x24mm SFP Rifle Scope With Alpha Cantilever MSR Mount | Black | Palmetto State Armory

I have come to believe at least one of your semi-auto rifles should have one of these scopes. You can do Close Quarters a the lowest setting, but also do a precise long shot if the situation arises.

And I would have dropped coin on it already, but since I like you bastards and I want to keep the blog going, I will be spending the coin on a new desktop later this week because this one is starting to show its age and be very cranky.

Seriously, I need the winning lotto numbers ASAP.

The Roe v Wade screeching is at cataclysmically stupid levels

I read the leaked paragraphs and nowhere said anything about rape or eliminating the access to birth control devices or meds.

But suddenly we are going to become hordes of Cossacks rampaging into neighborhoods demanding women to open their legs so we can forcefully impregnate them.

Dear Angie: If bad men try to rape you, pick your AR15 or other force multiplier weapon and kill their asses.

Oh… wait one.

Oops! You don’t believe in armed self-defense. Never mind! Enjoy your paranoia.

John Ross is dead.

I just found out and it floored me.

My phone call last night was from my friend Michael Meyer (who despite never getting me a Clydesdale, I still adore) telling me John had passed on. I didn’t even know he had been working on his next book. Who knows what that might have been like. Michael said everyone was in shock. I get it, I am as well. I told Michael it’s because we never expect our legends to die.

I stand on the shoulders of Giants | The Zelman Partisans

I had interacted with John Ross a bit in Facebook when he asked for help establishing the publication date of a particular paperback book he was using in his next book. He DMed me asking about my sources and I was glad to share them. Anything I could do to get a taste of his next book was his for the asking.

I hope now he sees how much of an influence he has been to tens (hundred?) of thousands of us. His book has made us better Second Amendment Advocates and possibly the most dangerous motherfuckers walking this country.

Thank you, John, and we will miss you.

On the possible overturn of Roe v. Wade.

The expected moaning and groaning has already risen to full pitch.

Name is blocked because she is a FB friend and a competitive shooter.  Yes, I make exceptions.

The clip from Youtube is spectacular in showing the callousness of some of these activists.

Pro Life activists lost all the ground they fought for because they allowed the nutcases to represent them. It has not been one or two crazy incidents, but a generation full of small things (directly related or not to abortion or not) that little by little eroded any righteousness the movement had and turned it into a mass-murder enterprise (both commercial and political)

The pendulum of politics always swings fully the other way if not policed.  I believe the rank and file Pro Life either did not care anymore about it because they felt safe or because they were afraid to be tagged as the enemy if they raised concerns about how far into criminal idiocy the new breed of Abortionists was taking the movement.

The Piper just issued a bill and it is collecting.

PS: The leak may have been overblown and edited for impact rather than truth. But it does still serve as warning.

Tradition and Technology clashes

Russian troops occupying the Ukrainian city of Melitopol stole nearly $5 million of farm vehicles from a John Deere dealership and shipped some of them more than 700 miles to Chechnya, CNN reported, only to find they had been rendered useless by a remote-locking system that prevented the thieves from turning the equipment on.

Two compound harvesters, valued at $300,000 each, as well as 27 other tractors, seeders, and additional pieces of equipment were stolen from the dealership. But the remote access technology of the equipment, which allows for GPS tracking and some of the vehicles to be remotely operated, prevented them from being used.

“When the invaders drove the stolen harvesters to Chechnya, they realized that they could not even turn them on, because the harvesters were locked remotely,” a source familiar with the incident told CNN.

Your reminder that the Russian military has a centuries-old tradition of rape and looting. What for other armies are crimes committed in uniform, for the Russians is simply a reward.

And I would not praise the forethought of John Deere for two reasons: They will use this as example why people do not have the right to fix the equipment they bought from them and two, the software used by farmers to bypass the locks used by John Deere and be able to repair the machines paid with their own effing money come from that part of the world.

Those harvesters will be up and running in no time.
