Maybe $80 for the gun and only because you can use it for parts.
Go ahead, say it: Florida Man.

Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

I like the FDE mags that are only camo’d in the part that would be in the gun. Also, why would the trigger guard snag any more than the actual trigger?
“Shot little, holstered once”
That is NOT an example of a Fitz Special – it’s pure and simple dumbassery. Fitzgerald took just slightly less than half the trigger guard off to make it easier to reach the trigger quickly and cleanly, even (especially) while wearing big, thick winter gloves. The design was to improve getting the revolver out from concealment and into action by shortening the barrel, rounding the grip butt, dehorning and otherwise making drawing as smooth as possible. It was never expected that you would just stuff it back into the holster (even one with a reinforced open mouth) but do so slowly and carefully.
I don’t know if it was Fitzgerald’s intent but I was taught to draw a Fitz Special with the trigger finger on the frame/crane ahead of the trigger until the gun cleared leather. That prevented NDs and saved more than one target from being shot in the foot instead of the 10-ring.
stay safe.
“I am Dremmel
hear me buzz!”
Yep, parts gun.
Why is it always a Florida guy?
I would Buy it for $80.00, then order a new grip frame from Glock for a few bucks. Previous owner’s dumbasery? No problem!
That’s what I would do if I liked Glocks.
The Platonic Ideal of a Bubba Derped gun.
Shot little… Shot his little what?
[…] This again? And it’s for AIWB! […]
What was he thinking OH right he wasn’t. What a fool throw it away before something bad happens. This is the kind of gun person that is making us look bad.
[…] tip Miguel, who says “The Fitz Special is NOT a fashionable or safe thing.” We’d actually disagree with that, because a Fitz Special was a double action […]
