I keep coming to events like this because the myth of the “unarmed man” as if the person was incapable of killing or gravely injuring somebody. Also to make clear that there are no points to be won to engage in a contest of penile measuring rather and hands-only gladiator skills: If you can avoid all fighting, you are better off as probably you don’t know the skill of your opponent or if he will suddenly decide to upgrade the fight to Armed Combat.
I actually have a folder on my computer titled “deaths_from_single_punches” (which includes direct deaths, deaths due to the fall, or deaths a while later). I use it to debunk all the times folks say “you don’t die from a punch.”
