Octal and Hex are both just interpretations of binary, though. With the advantage that “0x3a” is a bit easier for a human to parse than “00110110”

0x3a == 00111010
😉

This is extremely binary-normative with octal and hexadecimal being multiples of 10 (whether they call it 0x2 or whatever – call a spade a spade, ffs!).
And non-positional numbering systems are being totally excluded!
