The usual IANAL warning, but I would hazard a guess and say that the wielding of most of the items shown above in a dangerous or threatening matter could be considered at least in Florida, as Aggravated Assault :
And that is without touching anybody else, just threatening somebody with it. And Aggravated Assault in Florida are Forcible Felonies which can be stopped with the use of deadly force.
It is up to you to decide if you will take part on the free exercise of your First Amendment Right and assist to a potentially dangerous demonstration or stay away from potential problem. I am at odds with this one but in both cases I do intend to remain armed.

The knives, clubs, tire bat, battons, those are improvised melee weapons.
If somebody tried to stab me with a pair of kids safety scissors or a Leatherman tool (yes, these can be deadly too) I’d be so offended I’d have to beat them down with a double ended Mandigo dong in order to murder their dignity.
I had a lady friend who wanted to buy one of the supersize ones (you know, the ones big enough to have their own handles), drill it out from the base to within a fraction of the tip, and core it with rebar, and carry it as a self defense weapon. She thought it would be the most hilarious thing in the world to beat someone down with.
I find myself totally unsurprised by these- but least of all the safety scissors.
