Behaving Christianly doesn’t mean everything is “turn the other cheek”.

And protesting isn’t a green light for anyone to do anything they like to the opposing side, just because you think you’re right.

The main reason things like this happen or worse (antifa), and continue to happen is because people let them get away with it. That emboldens them to continue or to advance their behavior. They have to be shown it isn’t acceptable.
Someone decided to hit a devout Christian. He dutifully turned the other cheek, the guy hit him again.
He then calmly began removing his coat, and observed, ” Scripture having been fulfilled, I shall now beat the stuffing out of thee. “
They behaved Christianly enough — I don’t see anyone ending up in a blood eagle or used as an archery practice target.
They are lucky these Catholics do not act like the Catholics of old.
