Somehow I got my ear lobe infected. AA bit swollen, hot, pain… you know the symptoms.

I tried the insurance company’s Telemedical consult for the first time as per wife’s instructions (orders). They consult you both via phone or video through the net.

Same as with your doctor’s office, you need to fill all your medical history & form of payment, description of what ails you  & after that, you get to wait.

Bad news: The wait is as long as if you were a walk-in at any doctor’s office. The video window closed and I was told I would get a phone call.

Good News: My waiting room was awesome. It was my living room! I was having lunch with the missus, watching TV in my shorts when the call came in.  After some explanations and follow-up questions, a prescription was issued and I just need to get the text from the pharmacy to go pick it up.

I can get used to this.
