There was an anime that ran for the first 3 months of 2013 called “Maoyuu Maou Yuusha”(roughly “The Hero and The Demon King”) which addresses the question of world peace.
ACTUAL world peace.
And the work and sacrifices necessary to make it happen.
It got me thinking, and the conclusion I’ve come to is that it’s actually possible to have a world where everyone can get what they need(if only they’ll do the work for it) and nobody has to be afraid for their lives, and we aren’t constantly warring with each other.
And if we could just get all the idiots arguing for world peace and disarmament to shut up, we may even be able to pull it off!
Real QOTD material there.
Maybe not whirled peas, but world hunger could be eliminated if we could get rid of corrupt governments.
Yeah. Right.
