Jones isn’t a martyr; she’s a myth-peddler. She isn’t a scientist; she’s a fabulist. She’s not a whistleblower; she’s a good old-fashioned confidence trickster. And, like any confidence trickster, she understands her marks better than they understand themselves.

Rebekah Jones, the COVID Whistleblower Who Wasn’t

You need to read this. Mr. Cooke writes a very comprehensive article of who is Ms. Jones with documentation to boot. We have covered her doings a bit here including the possibility she is “disturbed” enough to boil the bunny.

She was the huckster the left needed to wedge uncertainty in Florida’s progress against the Pandemic even if it meant hurting people because she was messing around with the statistics.  Florida was a renegade and she took it upon herself to try and bring it back in the CDC corral and lock it down. When that did not happen, she tried to make herself a martyr for the cause and idiots in the Media (but I repeat myself) bought the smelly package because they needed “proof” Florida was not doing it right no matter what the stats said.

  1. Charles C W Cooke is probably the only writer at National Review I like. He’s written some excellent articles on the 2nd Amendment.
