I’ve tried to use google scholar and lexis-nexus, but instead of finding any peer-reviewed work by an experienced scientific expert, I just keep finding social media stuff about a high school drop-out from Sweden.

They can attack their political opponents with half-truths, fallacious logic, deceptively edited and out of context clips… and any pushback is met with “why are you wasting time attacking a clown?” narrative that only helps reinforce the idea that conservatives are bullies and leftists are victims.
I suspect one of the reasons the left came down so hard on Milo Yiannapolis and Rush Limbaugh (and is currently waging a silent “de-platforming” campaign against The Babylon Bee) is that they’re afraid of the right learning to use comedy the same way.

What I really meant is there her handlers are such mental midgets that they cannot read an english dictionary. Per Merriam-Webster, there are four possible definitions of political, and her actions apply to two of them.
Even if she personally has no interest in elections or governance, she is still political through her actions.
