Wait, wasn’t the pandemic declared over way-way ago? Not even the will to tear down a stupid sign?
Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy about the medical profession, doesn’t it?
Have you considered that this might be inertia on the part of the administration?
I don’t get that one. It looks like they are using COVID as a convenient excuse.
No animals in hospitals has been pretty much a standard practice with few exceptions as long as I’ve been working in hospitals. Almost half a century now….
saw a blurb today that “avian flue” has been found in cows in Ohio….. aaaaahhhhhhh the sky is falling!! the sky is falling!!
Ohio, Texas, and NM. The flocks and herds will have to be destroyed, because you can’t take the chance that the animal might recover on its own. (Seriously.) And it has crossed to humans in two cases that I’ve heard of. You know, like back in the 2000s with the bird flu and swine flu scares. (Had a prof who was enraged that the grad students weren’t either terrified or enraged about the government not handing out anti-viral drugs. We just blinked at him. We had other priorities, and several of us had been through the Anthrax panic in 2001.)
