I knew there was something wrong with this guy right from the start. Who goes to the trouble of making a ham-and-tortilla wrap in the middle of night and only eats half of it?

Yeah, a dude in your bedroom at 3:00 AM is bad enough, but a naked (at least partially) man is definitely grounds for shooting.
In all seriousness, I’m glad the homeowner had his wits about him and was able to get to his gun without alarming the intruder. If he had panicked and jumped up out of bed, sprinting towards the closet, he may have spooked the intruder and things may have ended much differently.
I misread that quote. I saw “He removed his wet clothing, folded them and put them on the sofa.”
Read this. How soon till someone tries to claim this was a result of deadly “shoot first” legislation?

And the homeowner would have been screwed if he had been forced to “keep the gun and ammo separate” as the anti’s want us to …for “safe storage.” Doesn’t sound like the homeowner had time to load.
