Careful there Shannon! It has been long known that legal things can be immoral or bad for you.
Examples include the illicit drug trade and legalized drugs and abortion which all kill scores more than those icky firearms, but you are oblivious.
Likewise, judges and governments can really screw up on the moral compass. See Nazi Germany where it was peachy to murder Jews (after they were disarmed as you propose).
So that is why we have a Constitutional Republic and a BOR to prevent despots and shrill idiots like you from gathering 51% of the people to your side to practice the tyranny of a majority in a democracy.
