I have a feeling this might be one for the gun grabbers. I bet the reason they released his name so quickly is because he is not a trans-alternate-muslim-votingrightsforgaywhales-socialist-obamaloving-berniebro.
Right now, they are trying desperately to find a link between the shooter and Trump, or any right side of the political aisle ideology. And, when they find it, you can bet that all people to the right of Pelosi will be labeled violent psychopaths.
