  1. From what I’ve read, this guy seems to be a pretty solid 2A guy. I’ve heard he’s a tad shaky on immigration and a couple other issues, but we aren’t ever going to have a perfect nominee. He’s young for a SCOTUS justice. RBG is what, 85? I don’t wish death on anyone, but she can’t have much time left. If Trump is in the same position after the midterms and she “resigns”, then let’s see Ted Cruz on the bench.

Fully agreed. Perfect is the enemy of good. I like what Confucius said: “Better a diamond with a flaw than a pebble without.”

    2. Ted Cruz would undoubtedly make an excellent Justice, but I would much rather see him as the 46th President of the United States.

  2. For this writer, please note that a broken clock is right twice a day and even a blind squirrel sometimes finds a nut.

I would chalk this up to the Fake News Media sometimes mixes up some actual reporting and balanced commentary with their replacement propaganda piece. I think their files got switched.

    Ouch NYT…the truth hurts!
