For all the idiots who work at Disney and make stupid, insulting decisions, there are as many amazing people, especially in the parks. What they put up with, and what they deliver, is mind-blowing to me.
The folks working in the parks are there, a lot of the times, because they believe in the Disney “magic.” They may have been to the parks as kids and have extremely fond memories, or they love a particular character, movie, or whatever.
The point is a lot of the folks who put up with the long hours, the low pay, and dealing with the crowds do so because they love it. On the other hand, the people in the corporate office are…. well maybe not as civic minded.
I’m a crusty, very, very, very….very cynical old street medic.
And my allergies chose *that* time to act up.

Thank you for this. My eldest son has aspergers, my youngest is one the spectrum where it seriously affects him, my youngest daughter is also on the spectrum but not as visible.
All of which makes this a bit more of a heart string tugger.
