It has not been a good day for mom. Nothing major, but she refuses to acknowledge she is about to be 87-very-hard-lived-years-old and need to take things a bit easier. She is not te easiest person to deal with, stubborn as heck.
And there is nothing much for me to do but watch.
In the meantime, learn how to pronounce Florida towns 🙂
No need for apologies! There are plenty of other things that take priority over a blog.
I second Scrappycow’s motion, and call for a vote. All in favor of family taking precedence over my entertainment, vote “Aye!”
Aye!
Family comes first. Always. Please don’t feel you need to apologize for it … we’re here because you and J.Kb choose to write interesting things, but doing so is entirely at your discretion.
But thanks for the heads-up … and best wishes to you and to her.
And if you’d be willing to pass on a message to her from one of your readers … please thank her for me, by everything I can see she did a good job of raising you.
Ditto Sir. My wife n I live 200 feet from my 87 yo mom. We fully understand. Take care of mom Sir. All best!
God bless
Best wishes to you and yours sir. Your family is in my family’s thoughts and prayers.
