According to a CBS poll, 70% of Americans are pessimistic about the state of the country.

A Gallup poll has 80% of Americans pessimistic about the state of the economy.

The labor force participation rate is holding at the lowest it’s been since we started measuring it.

Everything is more expensive and people have lost real buying power from their money.

According to Biden last night, everything is coming up roses and he’s the best President in history.

Social media has “Dark Biden” trending, because apparently Biden is a badass.

In the end the Party would announce that two and two made five, and you would have to believe it. It was inevitable that they should make that claim sooner or later: the logic of their position demanded it … And what was terrifying was not that they would kill you for thinking otherwise, but that they might be right. For, after all, how do we know that two and two make four? Or that the force of gravity works? Or that the past is unchangeable? If both the past and the external world exist only in the mind, and if the mind itself is controllable…what then?”

Welcome to 1984 2023, where your eyes and your wallet lie to you, and The Party is always right.

  1. Same- same the “party “ has been doing for ever… but now more and more We the People are aware and tuning out the lie.
But where is America? The people who in the face of adversity stand up and get to it.
Where are they?? Put down by threats from the gubmint?? Afraid?

  2. Letting people go back to work after the COVID lockdowns is not creating jobs.
People applying for small business licenses to restart the business the government destroyed during the panicdemic is not a sign of economic growth.
Unemployment rate is not a good gauge of the economy, workforce participation rate is.
    .
While all Presidents base their numbers on what they were at the start of there term versus today, using the height of the panicdemic as the starting point paints WAY too rosy of a picture.
    .
Also, inflation is ruining the middle class, so pResident Burden wants to increase taxes on corporations (paid by the consumer via higher prices), enforce limits on fees charged by banks/credit companies (which limits availability of loans/credit, especially to the poor/middle class), and impose price caps on companies (driving them overseas).
Didn’t these idiots learn anything from the last XYZ number of times the Democrats did that before?
    .
The amount of BS thrown around in that speech was incredible.

Only one rule: Don't be a dick.
