Lent this year started on Ash Wednesday, which was March 6th and concluded on Holy Saturday, on April 20th.  That was followed by the Octave of Easter, starting Easter Sunday, April 21st, and ended on Low Sunday, April 28th.

I did some searching on the internet and in that 54 day period I could not find one terrorist attack carried out by a Christian in the name of Jesus Christ.

I found of lot of Christians killed because of their religion, but none doing the killing in the name of their religion.

Yesterday was the first full day of Ramadan, and the holiday will conclude on June 4th, lasting 30 days, or a little more than half as long as the holy season of Lent and Eastertide.

One can only hope that Muslims this Ramadan be as peaceful as Christians were this holy season.
