This episode brings this weekend’s triple feature of anti-Asian hate to a close, the way all trilogies close, with the worst script and most action.

White supremacism turned tail and ran at the sight of an angry Asian man charging at them with a machete.

The only disappointment is that the son didn’t actually get any of them with his machete.

  1. I’ve heard that people are often more afraid of knives – especially really big ones aka swords, machetes, etc. – than guns.

Maybe so; but I wonder why. Is it that most people simply have more daily experience with knives (e.g.from cooking) than guns, or something deeper?

    1. Personal theory.

People have more experience getting cut than they ever will have getting shot. Simply, they have no idea what a gunshot will fell like, but the know how much a cut hurts.

      1. I’d add that movies make getting shot look like nothing. The hero gets hit in the shoulder and the next scene he’s shrugged it off.
