I have been trying to do more cardio. I love weight lifting but I hate running.
For weights, nothing gets me a good pump like Godsmack, Shinedown, Five Finger Death Puch, hard rock like that.
The problem is, you can’t run to that.
This came on in the gym when I was on the elliptical and damn, it is the perfect cadence for me.
I understand why so many gays are thin and good looking, they have the best music to run to.
I always found electronic music like electro- swing or one of the many flavors of techno such as house, dubstep or whatever they are calling it now to be good running music.
I love to run which is strange for a tall big guy but I find it to be almost meditative when i zone out to the music, something I was never able to do lifting weights as I am always putting to much thought into it trying to maintain correct form or trying to keep track of my sets and reps. Old rock does get me into the mood for body weight exercises though .
I’m the dead opposite. Weights is where I zone out, running just makes everything hurt.
