Glock Swiss Guard Vatican

And that would be the seal of the Vatican.

People see the Swiss Guard at the Vatican dressed Old School and tend to dismiss them as decorative. That would be a mistake. They have been protecting the Vatican for over 500 years and carry with them the tradition of being the nastiest fighters that ever came out of Europe. So much so that not even the Nazis messed with the Vatican or Switzerland for that matter. And in case you are wondering, yes they have been tested and they have done their duty.

  1. The Swiss Guard are hand selected German speaking Catholic soldiers who have good conduct service in special infantry units of the Swiss Army. They are effectively the Swiss equivalent to the Rangers.

Papal guards like Royal guards are the best of the best. Most people seem to forget the Queen’s Guard (the one who wear the bear hat that tourists annoy at Buckingham) are all graduates of the same school that produces the SAS.

  2. Wait, if that gun has the Vatican seal engraved on it, does that make it a consecrated weapon? Does that mean it would be effective against vampires, demons, and other forces of darkness?

(Not zombies, since those are usually some sort of biological agent)
