‘Those people will pay’ – Biden vows action for border patrol agents’ treatment of Haitian migrants
President Joe Biden on Friday vowed to take action against border patrol agents on horseback whose actions in Del Rio, Texas drew widespread outrage.
“It’s outrageous. I promise you those people will pay. They will be investigated. There will be consequences,” Biden said in response to a reporter’s question at the White House.
There were no whips. Haitians were not beaten or run down with horses.
Border Patrol was trying to detain people who were actively breaking the law by crossing the border.
Biden says there will be an investigation and consequences.
No investigation and consequences for the people who bumblefucked Afghanistan, or wiped out a family with seven kids with a drone strike based on Taliban provided intel, or caused there to be 15,000 illegal immigrants living under a bridge on Texas, or any of the other clusterfucks we’ve seen.
Nope, no accountability for them but law enforcement officers on the ground are going to get their assholes reamed by the DOJ for enforcing the law.
We are deep into banana republic territory with this.
He needs to distract the sheeple from his failures. Squirrel!
It’s a sound idea, but at some point, the distractions themselves become the failures.
It’s kind of like vomiting to distract people after they have crapped their pants.
Moreover, while letting in all illegals into our country, did Biden say a couple of days ago to only have Haitians detained and sent back to Haiti? Therefore, the BP agents were just following Biden’s order, right?
A detail that doesn’t get much mention is that the vast majority of those Haitians did not come from Haiti, but rather from places like Chile or Brazil where they had lived for years.
One wonders why the Border Patrol hasn’t gone on strike and/or just quit.
No one has balls anymore…
CBP (which the border patrol falls under) is having staffing issues in general. Between the low morale, hostile political climate, and now vaccine mandates, expect those staffing issues to worsen considerably. They can’t legally strike, they’d all be fired. Which wouldn’t help.
