Welcome to the ultimate destruction of our society by TikTok.

TikTok is where Gen Z gets its news.

TikTok is controlled by the Chinese government.

Generation Z, born and raised after 9/11 has been convinced by TikTok that Osama Bin Laden was a social revolutionary and the United States deserved 9/11.

The Chi Coms have successfully turned a generation of Americans so hard against America that they are mourning Osama Bin Laden.

We are irrevocably broken. There is no simple recovery from this

  1. I remember when this letter was published 20 years ago in 2002.
    .
Nothing has changed; and everything has changed in the United States.

  2. Osama Bin Laden (may he burn in Hell for eternity) is this generation’s Che Guevara. An @$$hole-war-criminal-turned-cultural-hero by the Left.
    .
And this generation, if they’re not already there, is rapidly approaching voting age.
    .
As others say, TINVOWOOT (There Is No Voting Our Way Out Of This). Not when millions of TikTok-brainwashed, America-hating young’ins cancel out your votes.
    .
My opinion: If America is so bad, go live in Bin Laden’s ancestral home, Afghanistan. Or China. Or Cuba. Or Venezuela. Or Iran. Or Gaza. If those places are so much better, pick one and GTFO.
    .
No? Not willing to give up the freedoms and privileges that America and America alone preserves for you, specifically by NOT being like those other places? Then sit down and shut up; grown-ups are talking.

  3. Also, just searched it out and read it. There’s nothing in there that’s new. OBL points out that corporations (and politicians’ loyalty to them over the People) is damaging our economy, that our war with Islamist terrorists is unsustainably expensive, and that it all started because we support Israel and the corporatist greed over Middle Eastern oil. He also claims that the war will continue until Palestine is return to the Islamists — all of it, “from the sea to the river”.
    .
Nothing we didn’t already know. It’s hardly mind-blowing.
    .
Interestingly, he did cite Thomas Paine and his writings, and encouraged our young people to read them. I don’t think that’s a bad idea; reading Paine and cross-referencing with the Declaration of Independence might “wake up” some of our younger generation as to how far our own government oversteps. But I believe OBL is just trying to weaken America by turning her People against the government (IOW, trying to foment rebellion).
    .
The whole thing reads like a mass shooter’s manifesto. “Here’s why I did it; read this after I’m gone.” Just like with mass shooters, you can’t refute it because he’s not around to defend his position.
    .
To me, this TikTok trend is just more evidence that social media destroys young brains. That these Gen Z’ers are so open to influence that their minds can be blown by a dead war criminal’s anti-capitalist and anti-Semitic screed proves the point.
    .
But the fact that in the last couple days multiple media outlets, including The Guardian, have removed OBL’s letter — it’s getting harder to find online — is also telling.

  4. It’s certainly long past time for TikTok to be terminated. Not just for fomenting anti-American propaganda such as this, but also for spreading material deliberately damaging to young people.
Karl Marx had a good term for this: “Opium of the masses”.
