I think it was some police mystery novel i read years ago about a cartridge with a hole so bit it looked like it was an ashtray. It was not till much later that I found out about Super Vel, the first of the commercial hollow points for handguns designed and manufactured by Lee Jurras.

It seems they are back and they remain true to the ashtray comment and even keeping the same old box style.

I may just need to buy a new box for history’s sake and to honor the memory of Mr. Jurras who passed away just this last April. Half of the concept and implementation of what we now call self-defense, we owe to him.
