George Scott is running for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 10th district.

PA-10 is a relatively newly shaped district, after the state Supreme Court had to redraw it.

It is located in Northern PA.  Here is a map of it’s location.

To give you some idea, Carbondale is one of the largest cities in the district, and that barely has 10,000 people in it.  Sullivan county is in the district and is the second least populated county in the state with only little more than 6,000 people.

It is farm country.  This is Pennsylvania Appalachia.  This is Trump country.  Lycoming county went 70% for Trump in 2016.

So this is the ad that George Scott went with:

First of all, another fucking veteran who thinks his term of service means he has the right to strip us of our gun rights at home.

Second, did he really train on rifles like the Smith & Wesson M&P-22?

Yeah, that’s a 22.  Don’t bullshit me old man.

Either he’s a damn liar, known nothing about guns, or didn’t want to burn a rifle that was worth more than a couple of hundred bucks.

Show me a farmer that burns his rifle and I’ll show you a man who isn’t a farmer.

The only disappointing thing here is that he didn’t make an illegal SBR to demonstrate is virtuous ignorance.

I wonder if burning that much plastic violates a state or federal environmental regulation on burning household waste?

This ad might get him credit if he were running in PA-2nd where Philly is.  I have a feeling this will go over about a well as fart in church.

Given the fact that Scott is a pastor, that might be his next “in touch with his district” political ad.

Spread the love

  1. “…Supreme Court had to redraw it”. More accurate would be: after the SC arrogated itself the authority to redraw the districts to help their fellow Democrats”.

  2. “I wonder if burning that much plastic violates a state or federal environmental regulation on burning household waste?”

Ha! I lived in that area for a couple of years. Every house came with a 50gal burn barrel out back. The one at the house we rented was filled to the top with beer cans, batteries, and lightbulbs. My neighbor burned his dog crap and grass clippings, every day around 5pm. Just in time for dinner. There were no city trash services, so everyone burned their trash first, then had the ashes picked up once in a while. I’ve seen everything from home improvement waste to a mattress get set alight.
