Yesterday I brought you the news that several FBI agents pretty much arranged the domestic terrorist kidnapping of Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

Well, the plot thickens.

FBI agent at center of Whitmer kidnap probe assaulted wife after swingers’ party, authorities say

An FBI agent at the center of the investigation into the plot to kidnap and kill Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is accused of smashing his wife’s head against a nightstand and choking her after a dispute stemming from their attendance at a swingers’ party, according to court records.

Special Agent Richard Trask, 39, of Kalamazoo, was charged Monday with assault with intent to do great bodily harm, less than murder following the alleged incident Sunday.

An affidavit filed by the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office in Kalamazoo County District Court said Trask’s wife had bloody lacerations to the right side of her head and “blood all over chest, clothing arms and hand,” as well as “severe” bruising to her neck and throat.

She told police she and her husband had several drinks at a swingers’ party held at a hotel in the 2700 block of S. 11 Street in Oshtemo Township, just west of Kalamazoo, according to the affidavit. She added that she did not like the party and they argued about it on the way home.

Once they arrived home, Trask got on top of her in their bed and “then grabbed the side of her head and smashed it several times on the nightstand,” according to the affidavit.

Aside from his FBI duties, Trask opened a gym at his rural property in Oshtemo Township near Kalamazoo and offers CrossFit training, according to social media posts and state business filings. He filed state paperwork for BCB Health & Wellness last year and maintains an active Instagram account showing him exercising, flexing and posing shirtless.

Wow…

This guy is a wife-beating scumbag and does CrossFit.

Hot damn what a piece of shit this guy is.

I can’t wait for the trial of the guys indicted for trying to kidnap Whitmer.

It’s going to be a field day for their defense attornies claiming their clients were entrapped into a conspiracy by a violent meathead who got rolled out of the FBI for beating his wife to a bloody pulp at a sex party.

I didn’t lie when I said the descriptor “least valuable, least trustworthy, lowest-functioning Americans on this side of the prison system” really does apply to just about everyone in the Federal government.

  1. Looks like he has some friends at the DA office — how else to explain the absurdly light charge? “intent to do great bodily harm, less than murder”, my a**. Strangling and blunt force head trauma are both intent to murder in any sane person’s book.

    1. Or the feds applied pressure. Didn’t Idaho try to charge Lon Horiuchi over his shooting of Randy Weaver’s wife until the feds twisted their arms?

  2. Nothing will happen to any of the FBI agents or their informants, nor to their management.

    1. Yep. I would posit he’ll get a raise and promotion. He’s the perfect candidate for supervisory experience in burning a bunch of children to death, or maybe a no knock raid at an old folks home where some conservative oldsters won’t take the jab and just need a “manual attitude adjustment”…

  3. The best thing I’ve heard is Dick Durbin (Democrat from Uranus) thinks Chipman’s appointment is in trouble.

  4. Isn’t Crossfit the club for people who peaked in HS?

Aside from that, really???? This guy got mad at his wife after attending a swinger party, one she was not comfortable at? Sounds like she got pushed into doing something she did not want to do.

“Honey, we are going to a swingers party. No, we are going, and you are going to have sex with other men. Yes, I want to see it, and I will be banging other women. No, we ARE going. You will like it.”

    What could go wrong?
