For me, this whole thing began a couple months ago, when I was told that NRA President Oliver North had a personal contract with one of NRA’s vendors, the media company Ackerman McQueen, or AckMac as it’s known.
I was told this personal contract was worth millions, and that it was unethical for North to have a personal contract with a vendor. I was also told, by someone who should know, that North didn’t disclose this contract until after he was president.
Column: Making sense of NRA’s leadership mess in Indy
Go read the rest. Everything I am getting confirms the coup attempt by Col. “Fredo” North and Ackerman McQueen.
Not exonerating La Pierre of anything he might have done and I am sure that a good measure of examination is incoming. But I say it again: You do not go outside the family nor use the hired help against your own.
La Pierre’s hands aren’t clean by a long shot… AckMac has never bid for a contract in years… And all questions were deflected, and not taken up in the membership meeting.
I have respected Col North for a long time and would give him the benefit of the doubt on anything the MSM would use to attack him. Having said that, anyone who attacks family from within should not only have an absolute airtight case against the wrong doer, but that person must be as clean as the wind driven snow (and have three witnesses that are cleaner still). Having been through an episode of republican leadership that choose to attack any and all who questioned their decision, and then enlisted the local demoncrat MSM in an attempt to destroy all opposition, I am quite sorrowful for the membership and those people of good will and clean hands who will be cannon fodder for all of the SJW MSM who will glory in destroying lives and Constitutional Liberties. The True Leadership should understand that the value of their bully pulpit to rally Americans to defend their God given rights are more important than the personalities and egos that fight over ownership like a couple of two year olds.
And the Grabbers grin with glee.
