Her celebrity has more to do with getting away with it than skin color. Of course, her celebrity is the only reason it was noticed.
Could be. My own view is that the main reason she got away with it is her party affiliation.
Roseanne Barr dared to portray Pro-Trump Characters as Normal People in her sitcom. For that she was cancelled. She owned the show and the copyright. She gave the rights up, so the crew could continue to work. And the ungrateful cast and writers made her show so woke it is unwatchable.
