The police officers recovered an arsenal of guns and ammunition in a hidden room after responding to a home as the result of a landlord/tenant dispute. A tenant at the residence had been arguing with her landlord when she observed a large knife and a gun in his waistband. She called 911 and members of the 105th Precinct’s Anti-Crime Team responded to the location. The officers stopped the man and recovered a large knife; then they requested a search warrant to look for the firearm.
On Thursday April 26, the 105th Precinct’s Field Intelligence Officer (FIO), along with the Anti-Crime Team and Emergency Services Unit (ESU) executed the search warrant. They found a hidden room behind a bookcase in one of the bedrooms and recovered 16 guns and over 10,000 rounds of ammunition.

I’m also calling bullshit on that FN P90 with the short barrel and suppressor actually being a suppressed SBR P90. That is an NFA double whammy and exceptionally unlikely to occur.
Yes, the Mini 14, and AR and AK pattern rifles are banned in NYC by their AWB. That alone is enough to justify arrest and seizure. But did the NYPD have to lie and bullshit us? NY changed their laws a few years back so what was once a “lifetime” gun owner permit suddenly had an expiration date. That date was earlier this year.
These could very well have been for-real SBRs and suppressors getting taken because NY state is now raiding people who did not get a new permissions slip to allow them to have rights.
New York does not allow NFA weapons. Either he got something that is very, very illegal out of state or it’s Airsoft. Given the number of other air guns, I’m going with Airsoft.
