New York has become such a Leftist shithole I doubt Teddy Roosevelt wanted to stay there anyway.

He’s probably the only New Yorker that could move from Manhattan to the Dakotas and be welcomed.

I’m just stuck on the fact NYC had to drape Teddy in curtains because his visage, which has been there for 83 years, is now too offensive to be seen.

  1. This is particularly bizarre given that TR is, pretty much, the founder of modern progressivism. The current generation has gone well beyond him but he started it. (That is, unless you consider Lincoln as the one.)

      1. Well, I think his is the same in principle, though not quite the same in degree. But the notion that the government should be able to do whatever it wants is, as far as I can tell, part of his politics.

  2. Wasn’t he police commissioner for NYC at one point?
And, I am pretty sure he was born in NY.

So… yeah. Get rid of him. Because…

  3. Teddy Roosevelt was a man for his times. I think he was a much better President than his leftist relative, FDR.
