It had to be the hand of God (or your particularly deity) that kept the advancing cops from not being mowed down by their fellow dumbasses with guns in the rear.
If there were not a couple of rounds of fisticuffs thrown back in the locker room after the day was over, the whole department is dumber than initially thought.

Damn, how many times can you say WTF? One extremely dumb moron ‘triggered’ the revealing of total incompetence and irresponsibility of a majority of an LE unit. And the fact that no officers where hit, only further exposes how incapable these officers were to put shots on the criminal. Where on earth did these shots end up? There was no way they had a clear line of sight on the armed suspect. So what in HELL gave them the confidence to pull the trigger? The “Fight or Flight’ response gone totally wrong. Adrenalin unhinged!
On the other hand, every video I’ve seen where cops have drawn their weapons — and I’ve been watching a lot — there’s invariably yells of “MIND THE CROSSFIRE!”
But those tend to be from rural/small town departments or from Arkansas.
