OK, now do the Southern Baptist Convention.
Nashville attorneys advised top Southern Baptist Convention officials to ignore reports of abuse and requests for reform in a decadeslong sexual abuse crisis, an explosive new report this week concluded.
The firm Guenther, Jordan & Price say their advice, valued by SBC officials for nearly 60 years, was ethical and in line with what their clients asked them to provide.
Oh yes, they even have a list of abusers spanning only 15 years but is 200 pages long.

Now do public schools in Tennessee, with the same criteria as that list.
Actually I had heard about it. Been coming for years. The SBC is at least big.
Here, polity matters. The SBC is not a “thing” in the same way as the RCC. See here (half hour audio) for some discussion of those issues.
And even apart from the SBC I can point to other recent US-ian church organization (or disorganization) scandals.
Yeah, do schools next.
This isn’t new. Heard about it in the 80’s. Same with many of the fundamentalist churches like Church of Christ.
Everyone knows about it and everyone covers it up.
Want a real scandal? Do what everyone else above says and go after all the teachers that have been doing this as an organized system (with unions and school boards protecting them) since, what, the 1960s or at least the 1970s.
