If you’re crying because a system the protects Jewish children from Hamas rockets, you should ask yourself:

Also:

It’s funny how the Libertarians always find a way of ending up on the side of “let the Jewish children get murdered.”

He stands by his principles.  His principles are shit.

  1. Libertarians? None that I know. Which soi-disant libertarians are you talking about?
Self-defense is a core Libertarian principle. Anyone who denies that right to any other person can never honestly claim to be a libertarian.

    1. I remember the conversation that made me leave Libertarianism.

This guy said we shouldn’t have gotten involved in WWII on the European front. The Nazis didn’t attack us.

I brought up the Holocaust and how liberating the camps was a good thing, not to mention ending fascism.

His response was (paraphrasing): “That was a thing between the Nazis and the Jews. It wasn’t America’s business. The Jews should have done a better job defending themselves.”

I’ve heard similar from other Libertarians, also about the Tutsi and other victims of genocide. There is a wing of Libertarianism that took the non-aggression pact to the point of “fuck em all” isolationism.

Concerned citizen: “Help, there is a woman being raped in the alley.”

Libertarian: “Not my problem. The rapist didn’t attack me, maybe the woman will defend herself better next time.”

      It’s callus and cruel.

      1. The Nazi’s made the declaration of war on us first. Pearl Harbor bombed, US declares war on Japan.

Following the Declaration of War on Japan on December 8, 1941, the other Axis nations of Germany and Italy declared war on the United States. Congress responded, formally declaring a state of war with Germany in this Joint Resolution on December 11, 1941

      2. Callous, cruel … and “victim blaming”.

Tell my 90-year-old grandmother that no, you’re not going to help her because it’s not your problem and she should have done a better job defending herself.

Better yet, tell your 90-year-old grandmother that. See how quickly you get written out of her will … or your mouth washed out with soap for speaking such evil. (My grandma could and would still do it! 😉 )

It’s no wonder nobody on either side likes big-L Libertarians.

  2. Known commie, nazi-symphatizer & “woke” DemonKKKrat, Occasional-Cortez, was throwing a tamtrum yet again because she didn’t get her way?

    Aw, my heart bleeds. /snark

    ROFLSLIAPMP!

  3. Eh, I’m down with his whole “No Foreign Aid” stance. Allow at-cost purchases of military supplies? Sure. But we’re already deep in the hole, and much of our foreign aid goes to people who hate us anyways.

  4. So are we selling the rockets or giving them away as “Aid”? Nothing wrong with selling them but we should not be giving anything to any one. Your protection is your problem, up to you to solve that.

  5. Reminder:

Hamas and Islamic Jihad fired over 4500 rockets at Israel in their last big attack.
Iron Dome shot down a lot of dangerous rockets, but Terrorists celebrated that they killed 13 Israelis.

Hamas killed NINETY ONE PALESTINIANS -91- Dead Palestinian children, women and men.

    https://legalinsurrection.com/2021/06/analysis-gaza-death-toll-reported-by-media-based-on-hamas-run-health-ministry-was-vastly-inflated/

Hamas kills more Palestinians than it kills Israelis. Remember it even executed the poor, desperate for a job Gazan Palestinians that built Hamas own tunnels?

Hamas is more dangerous to its own people.

  6. My neighbor growing up was one of Patton’s artillery guys. He had the same belief even into his ‘70’s about the Brits and the French – that they should’ve protected their countries so he didn’t have to. (He was particularly cheesed that they fought halfway across France only to be brought to a halt so the headlines would read that the French had liberated Paris.)

  7. IIRC, the U.S. has an agreement with Israel regarding continued resupply of the Iron Dome.

Such an agreement would have been negotiated by the State Dept and approved by Congress, right?

So how is it even up for a vote?

That’s like signing the purchase and financing contracts to buy a car, making some payments to the bank, stopping the payments, and then telling the bank, “We’re not going to pay you any more because our family voted to discontinue payments, and you can’t have the car back, either.”

Sorry, that’s not how agreements work; you agreed to pay, you’re on the hook.

Likewise, we (the U.S.) agreed to resupply Iron Dome, we f***ing resupply Iron Dome. Period. The end.

420 members of Congress get it. The rest … I don’t even know what’s going through their little heads.

  8. 420 out of 435 Republicans and Democrats agreed to honor the previous agreement.
    9 did not, and
    4 were MIA.

Except was the agreement ever submitted to the US Senate for ratification, or was it just an Executive Branch Agreement, like so damned many others?

Besides, I still remember how the Democrats in Congress shamelessly reneged on the US Treaties with South Vietnam in 1975.
