I am rapidly coming to the conclusion that from now until at least the next 50yrs, that a candidate for president or congress has to have either been
A. A successful small business man
B. A successful governor that knows the meaning of ‘fiscal responsibility’ and whose record at the state level shows he cares more about the health of the state than he does about fattening his own wallet.
C. Has to have served HONORABLY in the military. No Big Chicken Dinners wanted please.
And these people all have to want to..
D. Serve their one term,and make way for the next ‘citizen statesman’. Who wil do their job to keep the country afloat, by keeping ‘government’ the fuck out of the way of the people, so the people can be more personally responsible for their own actions, success and failures. Until we populate the government again with people who understand the words, honesty, integrity, self reliance and personal responsibility…nothing else we do will mean a damn thing.
