Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

  1. I missed the memo, I thought we earned the right not to bow the British sovereign in 1781.

    1. We did! We only had to kill about 78,000 Brits and their allies to earn the right. Our Founders didn’t believe in the Divine Right of Kings, and didn’t believe that not obeying the Monarch was blasphemy. So, Americans don’t bow to any Monarch.

Oh wait, didn’t …. Never mind him. He doesn’t count.

  2. I seem to remember that when President Obama went to the UK for the first time, either he or Michelle (or maybe both, I forget) made a faux pas regarding the Queen. If I remember right, he tried to shake her hand, and the Queen shouldn’t be touched.
Odd how the people dumping on the present President seem to have forgotten the mistakes made by the previous one.

    1. #Firstladyhashtag hugged her. Big faux pas, not even approaching the whole “Don’t grab strangers in public without permission” thing everyone else learned by the second grade. And JugEars’ gift to HRH was… an IPod loaded with his speeches. Class all the way, those Obama’s.
Or at least something within a couple letters of that anyway.

      1. That’s right. I remembered after I posted this. I’m glad someone doesn’t have CRS as bad as I do. It’s turning into CRAFT.

  3. Bow to the queen? I think not. You don’t bow to your equals. One head of state is equal in rank to any other head of state.

  4. This is the difference between a president and a poltroonhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9WlqW6UCeaY
