Sure is dusty in my office right now. (sniffle)
So, I’m a fried crusty curmudgeon, the most cynical person my daughter knows.
I honest-to G-d wept.
Fred Rogers.
Simply a Man, being Manly.
Thank you, gentlemen. Thank you.
I once said this, and I stand by it.
If Jesus ever needs to take a personal day, he could do a lot worse than having Fred Rogers fill in for him.
I always believed Mr. Rogers should be canonized as a Saint by the Church. I know he wasn’t Catholic indeed he was a pastor of a different branch of the faith. I know of no one who has embodied the faith more or spread more love and belief in god than this man in Centuries. If they can ram a sainthood through for Mother Teresa or even consider the dogma the current Pope preaches the Catholic Church can recognize who I believe is the human embodiment of love that was Mr. Rogers.
