I have never seen a manufactured moral panic spread and turn into such over-the-top bullshit so rapidly in my life.
This is bat-shit fucking craziness.
They’re trying to tear apart our Postal Service piece by piece. But Peter DeFazio is defending our right to vote (and every mailbox in America). #USPSisEssential #USPS #SaveThePostOffice pic.twitter.com/f9s6syjuA9

I have no idea how we recover when people see a giant, bloated, obsolete, insolvent, government corporation making minor improvements in efficiency and turn it into a fascist conspiracy.
We are clearly done as a nation.
The American experiment has ended.
The far left is using the effectiveness of propaganda. The fact that it’s a pack of lies, or bat shit crazy, is not a consideration at all. Only the fact that some fraction of the public can be suckered into thinking there is something here is relevant.
PT Barnum was right.
Both sides of the blue/red debate are willing to believe whatever craziness conspiracy theory is leveled at the other, then accuses the other side of being “tin foil hat” wearers
One side believes that Trump is trying to destroy the postal service, the other believes that COVID testing is really a trick so that they can put a microchip in the back of your throat.
9/11 conspiracy, flight 800 and the Navy missile, etc.
The reality is this:
The people who work for government are mostly lazy, inept people who just want to get more money for doing less work. While there are a few true believers who do things like compile dossiers or order gun stores to sell guns to drug cartels, most workers aren’t that motivated or smart.
That is why you hear about the actual conspiracies- all it takes is one person to blow the whistle.
Dive medic: and, there is the Ben Franklin Principle: “Three may keep a secret, if two are dead.”
Peter DeFazio is referring to himself in the third person.
The American public is being controlled (partially) by private corporations (not the ones you’re thinking about) that are experts at how to influence people, and they are leftist in nature….We aren’t gone yet, but we’re close to it.
