Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  The City of Brotherly Love.

The city of a guy attacking a car with a concrete block then having someone hand him a gun.

After the first concrete block strike, I’m sure this would have been a good shoot in any Red state in America.

I’d also like to point out after this guy throws a concrete block at that car three times, someone hands him a gun.

The House just passed a universal background check law.  The Senate will approve it and Biden will sign it.

So tell me, how would that law change this situation?  It would have made the hand-off more illegal, but would it have stopped it?

Do you think the guy with the gun would say to the guy throwing a concrete block at a car: “we need to go to an FFL and have you fill out a 4473 before I give you this gun to finish your road rage.”

No, of course not, but that’s not really the point of the law, is it.

  1. The purpose of the law is to make the streets safe for criminals.

Never mind “good shoot” — why does the car stay put?

  2. The actual result of such laws is to merely add more time to the sentence IF the person is apprehended and charged at all. Considering that many large cities are doing criminal catch and release now without much of anything in the way of actually putting away people like this….the law is currently useless.
