DENVER — No bump stocks have been turned over to Denver authorities after the city banned the accessories used in last year’s mass shooting in Las Vegas that killed 58 people and injured hundreds.
Denver Police police last month invited city residents to turn in any bump stocks in their possession but Denverite reports that none have been handed over.
C’mon, let’s face it: They were not that many to begin with and people are jst ignoring the crap out of the silly resolution.
Dear Denver City Council, you just were told to GFY
“They were not that many to begin with and people are jst ignoring the crap out of the silly resolution.”
Since the new Fla law doesn’t even say WHAT you are supposed to do with your now illegal stock, I wonder if anyone here will do the same.

This.
You know how the BATFE is very specific on the exact three cuts you need to make, and the specific tool you need to make them with, in order to make an AR (lower) into “not a rifle”? There is nothing like that in our law. There is no discussion whatsoever about what to do with it. I’m fairly sure you can’t put it in the recycling bin (being plastic) because it’s intact and someone could take it. Not sure about putting it in a sealed garbage bag, but if you put an AR lower in the garbage, the BATFE argument is that it’s still a gun and you transferred it to the garbage company.
How destroyed does it have to be?
Bump stock? What bump stock?
If Trump signs off on any significant gun control legislation, then after 2020 it’s going to be interesting to see how long it takes President Winfrey to try for a complete semi-auto ban. Mark my words, when the stars align and the Democrats have the Presidency along with the senate and the house, a semi-auto ban will be coming. Then things are going to get really interesting.
Molon Labe in action. The bumper stickers were just a warning that TPTB have thus far ignored. Hopefully peaceful noncompliance will get the message across, but I’m not optimistic.
Nice how they think you will just throw away something that your money paid for..
