Entertainment wise South Florida always sucked the big one. Even Latin music and related things were a bust unless you wanted to go to the Independence celebrations of Colombia and Dominican Republic or the Chili Cook Off for some taste of Country Music. But those were 3 dates a year and then it was a frigging dry spell. Of course, you could attend the numerous night clubs with live bands, but we have seen one too many episodes of the First 48 to actually be that stupid.

Nashville will absolutely ruin your ability to enjoy live music in other cities. The talent pool here is so large that it is *impossible* to go somewhere and here badly played music at a public venue. It may not be what you like, but it will be played well.
